Swimming


Swimming is more than exercise. Water can have a pronounced effect on our body and our mind. Swim whenever you can, preferably in the sea. Pools are often the only way to swim on a regular basis but be careful of the chlorination. The gas given off by chlorine is very toxic and will greatly affect those with allergies or a low immune system. If do you swim in chlorinated pools, wash the chlorine off by showering thoroughly using lavender or other essential oils to aid the process. Do the ‘smell’ test afterwards. If you can smell chlorine on the skin or hair then return to the shower!
