Men have unique health concerns. But like women, men also need to take care around their exposure to environmental chemicals such as xenoestrogens (these can have a direct effect on testosterone levels and sperm health). Therefore, supporting the endocrine (hormonal) system and optimising elimination and gentle cleansing through organs such as the liver and bowel is just as important for men as for women. Botanical foods and herbs may be particularly supportive of this process. Of course, a healthy nutrient-dense diet, the right exercise, and adequate rest and recuperation will also help to optimise male health.
