Warts & Verrucas
Warts are small rough benign lumps on the skin that are contagious. They are most commonly found on hands and feet. When they develop on the soles of the feet they are known as verrucas or plantar warts. Genital warts are also contagious and require specialist attention from your GP or sexual health clinic. Warts tend to disappear without treatment but people who are immune-compromised may develop too many and this will cause distress.
Foods & herbs for the home
- If you are immune-compromised with cancer, cancer treatment or AIDS please work with a qualified practitioner who has experience working with your condition.
- Because warts are caused by a virus, increasing your intake of garlic may help. Download a free copy of Jill Davies' book “Garlic” to learn more about this food.
- Gently support your immunity with ImmuGold Herbal Tea.
- Use a threesome of targeted essential oils to keep ahead of viral replication. Use one essential oil each week and then change. Place a drop or two of the oil onto the wart twice a day. Continue for 6 weeks. Start with Lemon and then Tea Tree and finally use Bergamot.
